Operation Round-up

Pocket Change Can Make a Big Difference
Giving bank to the community is a big part of what Wyrulec Company is all about. Members are encouraged to participate in the Operation Round-Up program, as a simple way to support their own communities, by just contributing pocket change.

How it works
This program gathers voluntary contributions by “rounding up” a member’s monthly bill to the next dollar. For example, a bill of $52.73 would automatically be rounded up to $53.00, contributing the additional 27 cents to the Round-Up fund. The most a member could contribute in a year would be $11.88; with the average contribution per year at $5.00.

Where does the money go?
Round-Up funds are used to provide assistance to the community in areas of need that may otherwise go unanswered. The Wyrulec Board of Directors receives and evaluates all requests, and determines how all funds are to be distributed. Past recipients of Operation Round Up funding have been, but are not limited to: the local Senior Center meal programs, local food pantries, financial assistance for families in hardship from tragedy or illness, and the ‘back pack’ program that strives to provide confidential and safe food assistance for hungry youth.

Small Change, Changing Lives
How do pennies make a difference? By giving pocket change each month, the members of Wyrulec Company have the potential to give thousands. If 80% of Wyrulec Members participate, the fund at minimum could provide $10,000 worth of aid to the community each year.
