The Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp will be held July 10-15, 2027 at the Glen Eden Resort near Steamboat Springs, CO. Camp expenses are covered by Wyrulec Company, so the camp is completely free to participants, and after attending the camp participants could win a free trip to Washington, D.C.! 

Students will join approximately 100 other campers from Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Wyoming. They will gain a better understanding about the electric industry, power generation, and the legislative process through workshops, demonstrations and presentations. Other activities include swimming, dancing, shopping, rafting, and sports. Adult counsellors are employees of rural electric systems who donate their time to the camp.   

The applicant's parent or guardian must live on the Wyrulec line or be an employee of Wyrulec Company. By the date of the camp, applicant must have completed 10th or 11th grade. Campers may be eligible to attend the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association's Youth Tour to Washington, D.C. the year after they attend the Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp.
